Number 14

Yesterday was the fiesta of our baranggay and well as usual, we were not involved on it like preparing foods and stuffs.  But the day was fun-filled!

First, my mother and I (with a neighbor) went to the cemetery to visit my stepfather.  We missed a week in going to his grave because my mother was not feeling well last week.  And later that afternoon, I dreamed of my stepfather.  So I guessed that was a sign that we need to visit him.

After that we went to our parish church to attend mass for the fiesta.  Wow!  There were a lot of priests! My mother was really amazed weehehe.  And the archbishop was also present.  Then we went to the one of the altar to light some candles.  D*mn I had some little burns in my fingertips because the candle holder was so slippery due to the wet paint.  And to make things worse, the wet black paint stuck to my fingertips so I ended up rubbing it the whole day!

To really celebrate the fiesta, we went to my aunt’s (cousin of my mama) house.  It was a surprise visit!  We went there for dinner.  There were so many people.  Since the foods were good, well there was no thinking twice to go for “round 2″ weeehehe So I just let my mama and my neighbor got the food for me because I’m left to watch for our table so that there would be no people replacing our spot.  When they came back, I’m so surprised because my plate was so full of foods! I’m like what the… are they feeding a pig?!

And the night came, I left my mama and my neighbor on the street because I had to go to my friend’s house.  Of course, I already asked permission to my mama days before.  I was too early when I arrived because some of my friends were not there yet.  There were some kids who kept asking me if I was number 14.  And I was like, What?! Who’s number 14?  And they said, “YOU!”.  Whatever! After that, when my friends arrived, they wanted to go to houses to eat some foods.  They were really feeling the fiesta!  I’m so full already and they didn’t believe me that I already took my dinner at other’s house.  So they really forced me to eat.  They asked, “what’s my purpose of being here in the fiesta?”  I had no choice.  I only ate pansit though, just taking it lightly.  My God forgive me! It’s gluttony!  After that, we found another house again to look for dessert! Weehehe.  We did not fail!  We found mango float! Mmmm…
After eating (a lot?), we all gathered to watch a singing contest.  My goodness, it was only for the oldies.  And I couldn’t stop laughing because my friends had been judging the contestants’ outfits.  There was this magician-look, the glittery suit.  So crazy!  But in fairness, eventhough they were boring to watch, some of them got that great voice quality.  It was so classic!

Tears

A couple of nights ago was so unexpected.  After I was being numb, tough, and mad at the world… I cried my heart out.   It was just a tear that leaded to another.  The grief I had these days was non-stop, causing my heart to be like a hard rock.
However, I felt a little bit relieved.  It’s really good to pour out your emotions once in a while.  It was an all-out discharge of my piling anguish.  At least, I’m feeling a little bit better than before.  Crying helps a lot.
But the next day, my eyes are swollen.  I thought its not gonna be obvious because I had natural eye bags (since birth?).  But my friend really noticed it.  She asked me if I cried last night.  She can really detect if you were crying the other night because that’s what she always do… been crying for love stuffs!

So what caused me to cry?
It’s really a very personal matter.  But you will all know about it… soon.

I’m writing a letter about what I’ve gone through these past few days.  I never planned to do it.  I started writing the letter during my international exam.  I had nothing to do on the extra time left because I wasn’t able to do my best in answering the questions.  So I just kept scribbling on the scratch paper, practicing my signature, autograph… And then I thought of writing a sort of a diary.  And when the exam ended, I continued at home and there… it happened.

The letter I wrote tells it all… expresses what I feel.   It also reveals some pieces of me.  It’s kind of autobiographical.  So just wait for it to be posted here.

Summer Xoxo

Happy summer everyone!
I’m not 100% done with my summer layout yet…

So for now, I’m gonna end up here.  Stay tuned because I will edit this update to formally launch my summer layout.  Just like what I did during valentines!

Anticipating April

Time flies so fast! I can feel the heat of summer already. Damn its so hot!
And April is here…vacation time!  But I still have my International Exams coming so I’m busy here preparing for it.  But I can’t believe that I still had time to hang out with my friends.  I even slept in their homes!  So guys please pray for me that I will be able to pass my exams.  Not only that, I need to get an ‘A’ or ‘B’ so I can still be a scholar.  So next week, the Holy Week, I promise not to go out.  I will quarantine myself like I usually do wehehe. Study, study, study.  I will miss you fellas!

I just recalled my April last year… I was supposed to see my high school friends because thats the usual time we can spend together because its vacation.  But now, since I don’t have a cellphone for like 10 months already, there is really a communication gap .  Sad.

And here’s one friend I really miss! Candia!
Gooshness!  She’s wearing my sexy little polo! wehehe  I love it so much because the style is so vibrant! Red and black are my favorite colors.  Its so obvious as the colors are visible here in my layout design   And that polo had a sentimental value but Candia was like snatching it from me! wehehehe
So here are the pics taken last year! I wouldn’t forget this moment because we had our first ever pictorial using Princess’ (another high school friend) brand new digital camera.  We were the first posers!  We were like baptizing the cam! wehehehe

And after almost a year… Candia and I made a trend?!

Those are Ashlee Simpson (looking like Cameron Diaz) and Christina Aguilera sporting the Black and Red polo this summer? Ashlee is being geeky and Christina is being classy by making the top a dress.
Upon seeing those celeb pics, I just want my polo back!  But Candia is like owning it already

It’s quite interesting that both ladies wore the same outfit so I really search for some info.  And tadaa…

Pre-Summer

February 18, 2006 – Tuburan and Fisherman’s Net

Oh it’s officially summer now but I already had my pre-summer indulgence wehehehe!
My friends and I went to a very far place!  It was a very long trip! But I really had an adventure of a lifetime!

I was just alone in going to that place because I supposed to go with my friends as decided but I was late due to some personal reasons.  So I told the father of my friend to wait for me in the terminal.  Eventhough they left me, I really didn’t hesitate to back out because I was really prepared.  So without thinking twice, I went to the V-Hire terminal and waited an hour just to fill it up with passengers.
When I was on the road, I remembered that my friend Maimai told me that it only takes 45 minutes in reaching the place.  But I figured out that she was just joking!  I kept checking the time and found out that it was like 45 minutes x 4!
That was really a long trip but I never felt asleep because I’m captured by the view! The high mountains, the beaches and the road!
When I arrived on the terminal, I was so nervous because my friends were not around!  But I really trust them.  I won’t be lost in a strange place.  So in less than an hour, they came and fetched me.

( When my friends were on their way to the place, somebody was crossing the street.  It was a house! It’s only in the Philippines! The Bayanihan! Filipinos helping one another )

( Where am I? Maybe an hour behind! So while my friends were waiting for me, they strolled around the place! From posing on the National Hero’s monument to buying some good stuffs at the “ukay-ukay”.  Maimai got a Roxy cap for just about 30 bucks! Amazing! )

( Finally, I arrived! After a long trip…I’m posing with my friends with that long natural snake’s skin! )

( Choose your fave cap? From left… ME, Maimai, Diding and Bigi.  That was after our lunch/snack break! We were fully charged! And the “picture2x” has just begun! )

( In the tree house.  It was not an easy way in getting up there.  There was a noisy dog who guarded it )

( Whatta pic! That was the place we stayed.  It was like an old gymn.  And look at that rusty gas tank   Hhhmm… reflection effect?! )

( Ooohh… too bad we were not able to swim in the beach because we were running out of time! So we were just feeling the sea and the sand through our feet )

( Yeah right! I know I looked different among my friends but I was just dressing up according to the right occassion.  I’m feeling the seashore so… )

( On the rocks?  Nah dontcha think we were having a photoshoot for our movie or TV show! Back off Laguna Beach and The O.C. casts! :p )

( I really like the tree because it looks scary!  Reminds me of some dark things like Halloween…you know what I mean? Those leafless trees! )

( Another tree house.  This time much bigger and higher!  It was not an easy way up there!  The stairs was so narrow!  We were also joined by some kids and a Japanese guy )

 ( After we played “1,2,3…PASS”  You heard of that game? You just need playing cards and nah…better come here and play with us!  And that is what you will get if you lose the game :p Pink dirt! )

( Hhaayy… we were preparing to go home.  And of course we wiped our faces already! I was on my jeans!  Y’all see I’m bringing my malong )

( Inside the van.  It was a long way travel! Hhhmm… we still looked pretty eventhough we were tired ayt? Pretty tired! hehe We were still up! )

( Zzzz… nah I couldn’t help it!  My eyes were heavy and its about to drop!  D*mn Corns [photographer]! That was not a good shot because its dark inside the van and Corns suddenly got his camera and CLICK! )

( At night, after our dinner, we went to a post-valentine acoustic concert @ Fisherman’s net!  Only Maimai was able to changed clothes because we went to her house to “retouch” and we did not really rest at all! Fight fight fight! )

( We were like Barbie dolls inside the box right?  I also saw my good high school friend and classmate, Miyat during the concert.  She was not in the pic )

( Because it was already late at night…  It was actually so early in the morning already and the store was closed already.  So there we took over as your cashiers )

( Dontcha know that I’m drunk that night? I was not on myself! I lost temper! We really had some dispute with my friends wahahaha.  It was resolved immediately though )

So there, whatta day and whatta night!
Another memorable moment of my life!  Thank God I have friends to share life with… to enjoy with them and have fun!
